Welcome !
Seacoast Inspections LLC.operates under the "Standards of Practice" and "Code of Ethics" set out by ASHI (The American Society of Home Inspectors) and NAHI          ( National Association of Home Inspectors). My reports also follow the Massachusetts "Standards of Practice" in accordance with 266CMR 1.00-11.00. Seacoast Inspections is fully covered with both Liability and Errors & Omissions insurance.
There are a lot of very good  inspection companies out there. I try to set myself apart by the quality of my product. I have invested in Infrared Technology for one reason only. To better educate my clients. My clients are not just home owners. I have performed building diagnostic inspections on schools, commercial, retail, and even the state legislative buildings.  My professional  narrative reports give you the answers your looking for. These are not checklists like some companies. My reports average between 60 - 80 pages, and includes professional diagrams and digital pictures to help you understand everything about your  home. The average home inspection lasts between 3 - 4 hours. I always use an earnest effort to disclose the important visual problems for your consideration, and will spend as much time as needed to answer your questions. After, I  take all field data back to the office  where it can take 2 - 3 hours to generate the final narrative report. The report will be e-mailed  in PDF format and a hard spiral bound copy mailed if desired. One other benefit is that once I have performed a home inspection for you, you can continue to use me as a resource for as long as you own that home. Have a question, just shoot me and e-mail. The best part is you are dealing directly with the owner. I give you my word that if you are not satisfied with the inspection you will not pay.
Whether you are building a home or purchasing one, you need someone that is knowledgeable and looking out for your best interests. I am not a franchise and did not  just get home from a seven day course on Home Inspection. I am a Certified Home Inspector who has passed the tough and comprehensive 4 hour National Home Inspector Examination (required by ASHI,NAHI & the MA Licensure Board) given by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors. This exam is proctored. That means that it is a closed book test taken in a professional and monitored testing environment where those being tested are identified by a state photo I.d. This is not a simple on-line test which can be taken with open books and help from others!

I am one of the only home inspection companies in New England that has truly put my money where my mouth is. Many companies say that they use the latest technology. I have invested over 20,000 in equipment and training to become  Certified as a Building Science Thermographer. This is very important. Without proper training and experience it is very easy to misdiagnose an anomaly. I have over 5 years experience using thermal imaging. This technology lets me "see" things others would walk past. These infrared camera's (as seen upper right) are another tool that is available to better educate you the home buyer about your potential new home. If you are having problems with a home or commercial building. Give me a call, I do building inspections and  diagnostic inspections. Infrared inspections can help especially with moisture and insulation related problems. I specialize in flat roof inspections as well. 5,000 sqft to 200,000 sqft I can help diagnose the problems.
The average cost of a typical (2000sqft) home inspection which includes the use of  the Infrared camera is 300-400 dollars.
Make sure you are comparing apples to apples.
         I Offer:
  • ASHI Certified Home Inspector #247162 (dealing with owner)
  • Full coverage w/ Liability & Errors and Omissions Insurance
  • Certified Building Science Thermographer #31162
  • Infrared Technology
  • Detailed 60-80 page Narrative reports (not checklists)
  • Digital Photos
  • Professional Color Diagrams
  • Schedule 7 days a week
  • No fee guarantee! If not satisfied at time of inspection.
There are companies that charge 500-1200 for an average size home.
Look closely at what you are getting for that. The reason I have been steady even in a bad market  is because of the value I provide.
I have learned that if you give people a top quality product at a fair price. The phone will keep ringing.
Did you know the EERE recommends a thermographic scan prior to home purchase!
